Exclusion of liability
We hereby clarify that under no circumnstances the Consortium may be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use of the information provided. In particular, the Consortium is not liable for any damage or loss to assets or persons deriving from use of the drifters/objects trajectories computed and the Search area idenditified by SaR.
Due to the peculiarity of the SaR service, it is necessary to specify that the Consortium can not guarantee, and can not therefore be held in any way responsible for the information relating to the weather, sea-state, and oceanographic forecasts and the accuracy in space and time of the trajectories of the drifters/objects calculated and of the Search area identified. The parameter errors, the model approximations as well as the simplifications generated by the algorithm for calculating the drifters/objects trajectories and the search area, depending also from weather, sea-state, and oceanographic forecast, can lead to a drifters/objects trajectories and Search area computation that can be partially or completely wrong.
All disputes arising out of or in connection with this Disclaimer shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Lecce, Italy.
In the event of any discrepancy in the interpretation of the various versions of these rules and conditions, the Italian version shall prevail.
